Cambridge police are investigating after a 47-year-old reported being bodily and sexually assaulted Wednesday morning close to the Porter Trade Buying Heart.
Police stated the lady advised investigators she was strolling down Roseland Road towards Massachusetts Avenue round 8:40 a.m. when she felt somebody method her rapidly.
“After making an attempt to step out of the way in which, the suspect reportedly reached up her skirt and aggressively felt her buttocks,” police stated in an announcement. “When she rotated to confront the suspect, he ran away.”
The alleged assault occurred at 1815 Massachusetts Ave.
The lady wasn’t in a position to present an outline of the suspect, police stated.
The incident stays beneath investigation and police are asking anybody with data or potential proof to contact the division. Police stated the division will present “enhanced consideration” to the realm within the meantime.
